Unsportsmanlike Conduct

Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. Any Member at a PAMM sanctioned Event is subject to disciplinary action for any of the following, including but not limited to:

 

CONDUCT ON TRACK/ FACILITY PROPERTY

  1. Verbally abusing anyone at the Facilities will result in suspension from subsequent events.

  2. Participating in any action or activity considered detrimental to a Track/ facility shall be grounds for disqualification and/or punitive action by Track Officials and/ or PAMM Officials.

HARASSMENT OF TRACK OFFICIALS, PAMM OFFICIALS, TOW TRUCK OPERATORS, SAFETY CREWS, AMBULANCE, OR FIRE CREWS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

  1. Attempts to and/or does physically cause harm to any Track Official, including but not limited to biting, clashing, grabbing and/or grabbing the Official’s equipment,  hair-pulling, kicking, obscene language or gestures,  punching, pushing, scratching, shoving, slapping, spitting, swearing, throwing objects at Officials/ crew, throwing a punch, touching, or any physical fighting, etc., will be subject to disqualification, a fine of no less than $1,000 and suspension from PAMM Events and/or legal action as well as any further other action deemed appropriate by Track Officials and/ or PAMM Officials.

  2. Extreme use of profanity, vulgar language and disrespect toward Track Officials may be cause for suspension! 

  3. Blatant verbal abuses toward any Event Official will be subject to a fine of no less than $250, possible forfeiture of points for Event, further penalty, disqualification, suspension, legal action or any other action deemed appropriate by Track Officials and/ or PAMM Officials.

Unsportsmanlike behavior between Drivers, Members and Participants will not be tolerated at any point during a Race, in the pit chute, at the scales or anywhere at PAMM Events.

  1. Communicating threats

  2. Rough driving, dive bombing

  3. Biting, clashing, grabbing and/or grabbing equipment,  hair-pulling, kicking, obscene language or gestures,  punching, pushing, scratching, shoving, slapping, spitting, swearing, throwing objects at others, throwing a punch,  touching,  or any physical fighting

  4. Going into another Driver’s pit to argue or damage their equipment

  5. Becoming involved in any type of altercation

  6. Any Member, Driver and Participant involved in an altercation that results in physical contact may be subject to the Driver forfeiting all prize money and points, further penalties, disqualification for the Event, a fine, suspension and/ or legal action as deemed appropriate by Host Track/ Facility Officials and/ or PAMM Officials.   If you are in someone else’s pit during a confrontation, you are trespassing and will be considered the aggressor.

August, 24, 2023  Amendment - Unsportsmanlike Conduct - Threats

​

On the Host Track and PAMM Events:

PAMM and/ or Host Track Officials may suspend a Driver from an Event or from Host Track in any situation to promote the orderly conduct of any event.

 

Any Driver, car owner, mechanic, crew member and/ or person who conveys or states threats, takes part in an altercation or fight on Host Track property and/ or surrounding premises before, during or after a PAMM Event shall be penalized.

ANY COMMUNICATION OF THREATS IS CAUSE FOR

IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION FROM THE EVENT FOR THE DATE OF THE INCIDENT

 

AND

 

IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THE EVENT PREMISES OF THE OFFENDER, OFFENDER’S PIT CREW, TEAM MEMBERS, CAR OWNER AND GUESTS. 

 

AND

 

THERE WILL BE A LOSS OF POINTS EARNED FOR THAT RACE AND THE PURSE FOR THE DATE OF THE INCIDENT.

 

AND

 

DRIVER WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR A MINIMUM OF ONE IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING RACING EVENT.

 

NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

Social Media:

Any communication of threats via social media is also cause for discipline including but are not limited to, disqualification, suspension, fines and/or loss of points, at the discretion of PAMM and/ or Host Track officials.

 

Suspension may be for a limited to a certain period of time or the rest of the season.

 

Anyone person suspended will be notified in writing of their penalties.

 

Unpaid fines for Drivers, Crew Members, Car Owners and Race Team Members may be deducted from purse or point fund monies.

 

No Car Owner or Driver will be allowed to compete until all fines are paid and no team will be allowed to compete until all fines are paid.

 

Disciplinary action shall be at the sole discretion of the PAMM and/ or Host Track and shall be final.
